Peter has been mentoring small to medium businesses in New Zealand and Australia for over 20 years, helping people in business to get the income, and ultimately the lifestyle that a good business should provide. Also in Peters lengthy career has worked as a taxation investigator for both the IRD and ATO, his expertise in this area enhances the services we offer to our clients.
Tom is originally from the sunny Hawkes Bay, has been a Director with Tandem Group since 2017. Similar to Taranaki, the Hawkes Bay region is known as a horticultural and agricultural gem, this upbringing forms Tom’s passion and knowledge for all things agricultural. His clients benefiting from his ‘gumboots on’ approach. As a business advisor Tom also has a keen interest in commercial operations and tackling our clients’ big questions.
Chris has been perfecting his advisory skills with Tandem Group for 14 years, becoming a director in 2022. Something of a local legend on and off the rugby field; as a player and coach, Chris combines his leadership skills with his business acumen and passion for empowering clients. Chris advises a broad range of clients from the rural sector to multi-corporate entities.
Brent a commercial director has also seen life on the other side of business. His experience of running his own business and being in the corporate world, leads him to thrive on reading the numbers, and exploring the story they tell, to make great business decisions. Brent works with his clients to set high but achievable goals, measuring progress and realigning tactics to meet new targets.
A keen athlete, Dion is now the longest running (literally) director, having become a director in 2010. Dion focuses on advising commercial organisations, from sole traders through to multi-entity corporates. Being in business can be demanding work, and Dion faces this challenge head on to ease the load of our clients, helping them embrace what is in front of them and striving for financial wellbeing.

Joining Tandem Group with 20 years’ experience in the commercial and not-for profit sectors, Tracey has highlighted her skills in all-round organisational development and leadership, which she now brings to the Tandem Group management team.
One of Tracey’s passions is not-for-profit groups and utilising her skills and drive to help them succeed. Tracey spent several years as a weekly volunteer for Women’s Refuge and previously Chaired Waitara Alive and Co-chaired the Waitara Foodbank, offering both organisations fresh prospectives.
